Google has declared that it will be launching its Android O later this year in the month of May. We are not sure as to what the ‘O’ refers to but rumors says that it will be called Android 8.0 Oreo. Well, Google has declared its first mobile that will be compatible with the new Android 8.0. Nexus 5X is the smartphone that Google claims to be compatible with the new OS. Let us have a quick look at the specs of the smartphone.
The LG Nexus 5X has a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 with a 5.2 inch screen. It offers IPS LCD touchscreen with 70.2% of screen to body ratio. It also has a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 with a pixel density of 423 ppi.
Coming towards the software and hardware updates, the device currently runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. It is powered by Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 and has a GPU set of Adreno 418. The handset also offers a 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB/32 GB of internal memory. The memory cannot also be extended with the help of MicroSD card.
Moving towards the camera, the handset has 12.3 MP of rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, laser autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The device also has a 5 MP of front camera with f/2.0 aperture. In the end, the smartphone has a battery worth 2,700 mAh power that is capable of give 231 hours of standby time and 19 hours of talk time along with 67 hours of music play time. The device is available in carbon, quartz, and ice color variants.
