Honor, who has been launching smartphones in partnership with Huawei, has now launched its own flagship smartphone. The company launched its Honor V9 smartphone today in China. Let us have a look at the specs.
The new Honor V9 sports a 5.7-inch QHD LTPS LCD touchscreen display and a pixel ratio of 1440 x 2560. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor along with 4 GB/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 Gb internal memory. This memory can be further expanded to 128 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving towards the connectivity part, the new Honor V9 features 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone has a price tag of CNY 2,599. The phone is available in three different versions—gold, silver, and rose gold.
Speaking of the imaging duties, the new Honor V9 has 12 MP + 12 MP of dual rear cameras along with f/2.2 aperture with dual LED flash, and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is of 8 MP along with f/2.0 aperture and is enough for good selfies. The phone comes with a 3,900mAh battery as well.
Well, launched in China, the phone will soon hit the Indian market. It is estimated that the phone will cost around Rs 25,280 in the Indian market. Well, the dual camera setup will be the key factor to boost the sale of the handset but the price factor may hamper the sale.
